NOTICE OF SURVEYING

The Town of Calypso is partnering with the engineering firm WithersRavenel to conduct a stormwater feasibility study throughout the town. Survey data is needed to assess the characteristics of existing stormwater infrastructure. The information gathered will be used to identify and prioritize any needed repairs and future improvements.

Starting August 31, 2026, and continuing into September, you may notice WithersRavenel vehicles (pictured below) and employees completing stormwater system inventory work in your neighborhood. As a part of the project, personnel will take measurements of manholes, pipes, and drainage infrastructure.

As much as possible, WithersRavenel will remain inside rights-of-way, easements, and common areas to complete the inventory. If your property is near survey locations, staff may need to access your property to take measurements or place temporary survey markers to gather field information that is not visible from other areas.
